The Quarter Paint is a cross between a Quarter Horse and a Paint Horse. This cross blends together the qualities of both breeds for a horse that excels in many Western disciplines. In real life, these crosses are eligible for registry in the American Paint Horse Association due to their rule “In order to qualify for registration with APHA, a foal’s sire and dam must be registered with either the APHA, or American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), or Jockey Club (Thoroughbred.)”
