Leopard (Lp, Patn1, Patn2)
Leopard pattern genes are relatively not known and often throw surprising variations and plenty of varnish and spots. In Horse Fable, leopard genes Lp, Patn1, and Patn2 help determine what type of leopard pattern horses have. In real life, as of now only the Lp and Patn1 genes are testable. Helix has managed to find a Patn2 gene and also detail out with great accuracy types of leopard you’ll get in the various leopard combos.
Its important to know for any leopard marking to show a horse must have at least one Lp gene. Horses that are lplp will not display any type of leopard marking.

Special Variants
Peacock and snowflake leopards are variants found for leopards and varnish roans. The gene that cause these variants is hidden and must be discovered through breeding or the foundation store.
