Horse levels should be the main priority for anyone looking to improve their herd. This is because horse levels are used when breeding to improve offspring via training boost. Horse levels are gained through:
- Careers
- Discipline Showing
- Halter Showing
Earning horse levels is important to breeding because levels determine a foals training boost. Foals with a high training boost will earn more performance stats in their lifetime compared to those with low, or no, training boost.
Breeding & Levels
It is highly recommended to wait to breed your horses until they have at least a level 50 or higher to ensure their offspring have a minimum training boost of 10.
How is training boost calculated?
Training boost is calculated by averaging a breeding pair’s level and diving by 10. (Stallion Level + Mare Level) / 10 = Foal Training Boost
