Wild horses are better than horses found in the Foundation Store and most from custom creation in a couple of ways. Not only do they have a much higher PS than foundation and custom horses horses, they are also mostly 4 or 5 stars and have a TB ranging between 1 and 5. In the near future, some genes may become explore only. There are also soon-to-be explore-only variations and white markings.

Wild horses have a bond (0 – 100%) that tells you how much they enjoy you. They also have wild essence (0-100%) that tells you how tame or aggressive they are. The more wild essence the harder the horse is to catch…and probably more valuable…

Should you walk away from capturing a wild horse, the wild horse icon in the top banner will indicate how close to running away your wild horse is. The longer you wait, the redder the icon becomes!

Actions with Wild Horses

The following actions can be taken with wild horses:

Capture – Enters the capture screen to capture the horse.

Shoo – Shoos the horse away and you may continue on.

Pet – Uses 10% player energy per pet attempt. Try petting the wild horse, careful, this isn’t advised in-game nor in the real world.

Lasso – Found while exploring. You can try to lasso a horse which may increase your bond to it.

Treat – If you want to offer a treat you can. Careful, some horses are very picky!

Whistle – Found while exploring. You can try whistling the horse over and offer it to join your herd.
