Dutch Warmblood
The Dutch Warmblood is among the top picks for English competitors. The breed originates from German, French, and English horses that were bred to native Dutch stock. From the Netherlands originally, the breed made it’s way around Europe to be bred in to what we know today. They can be found around the world competing mostly in dressage and showjumping rings, and even around the cross country course, or hunter classes! There have even been several that are Olympic Medalists. The breed is a competitive, spirited one, and should you choose one you cannot go wrong.
