Custom Horse Tokens

Custom Horse Tokens are used to create a fully customized horse of any pure breed. Horse Fable currently has 4 different tokens ranging in rarity, conformation quality, and customization options. All tokens allow you to choose the following: horse color, patterns, face/leg markings. body markings, stats, gender, and age from 0 to 2 years old. Color options are worth a set amount of points, each token has a maximum allowance of total color points and will require an extra 50 ingots per point if you exceed this limit.
You cannot choose the conformation of your horse. Instead each conformation trait will generate randomly within a set range of Breed Standards. The more rarity a token has, the narrower this variance will be. In general, custom horses have better Breed Standards and total Performance Stats than Foundation horses, with rarer tokens producing horses that are comparable to wild ones in quality! Training Boost (TB) is a set number depending on token rarity, foals are born with all their foal training complete and cannot gain any additional TB.

Some breeds have rare genes that are not available in the lab but obtainable through the Foundation Store and/or wild, check the individual breed’s page if you’re not sure about a particular gene! Tokens cannot be used to create hidden or ultra-rare genes for any breed, currently these genes are Tiger Eye, Dapples, Mushroom, and Manchado. Somatic Mutations are also not available since they occur completely randomly, just like real life!

The main 3 tokens are sold in the General Store, with Breed Coins available year-round and Magic/Spectral only available during limited-time sales. Players will be notified through the news when Magic and Spectral Tokens are available and how long they will remain in the General Store. These coins can be used to create any purebreed horse except Chincoteague Ponies.
Chincoteague Coins are an extremely limited token that has only been available twice in Horse Fable’s lifetime and are not guaranteed to return in the future. See the Chincoteague Pony’s breed page for more info about this token’s history!
